Sensor Central: Real-Time IoT Data Integration
I led the successful integration of IoT device data into our operational framework, presenting it seamlessly on the UI for the first time in our company's history. Using .NET with the Blazor framework, I orchestrated Azure Functions to schedule API calls for fetching real-time sensor data. These functions performed deltas against our SQL database, ensuring up-to-date and accurate data retrieval and storage. Central to the project's achievement was crafting an advanced user interface with intuitive tools for dynamic data analysis and visualization. This empowered users to interpret sensor data effectively, enhancing decision-making and operational efficiency. Additionally, I designed reusable components like 'Table.razor' and 'Color Picker,' streamlining development and maintaining consistency across various application pages. These efforts not only improved usability but also optimized development timelines, contributing significantly to the success of the 'Sensor Central' initiative.
Home Energy Monitoring System
The fundamental objective of this project was to develop a Home Energy Monitoring System aimed at providing users with an enhanced solution for efficiently managing, monitoring, and analyzing household energy consumption. This innovative system harnessed the capabilities of an mbed ESP8266 microcontroller and was complemented by crucial software components such as the Arduino IDE, Node.js, and React. Leveraging the versatility and power efficiency of the mbed OS platform, the project facilitated rapid prototyping and modularity, ensuring seamless connectivity. As a pivotal outcome, the system achieved real-time transmission of data from the ESP8266 microcontroller to the React-based front end, offering users a comprehensive and user-friendly platform for observing and optimizing their energy consumption practices
Smart Soil Watering System
A pioneering soil moisture management system was created, automating real-time monitoring and precise plant-specific watering. The system featured advanced technologies like an mbed microcontroller, precise soil moisture sensors, relay modules, miniature water pumps, and wireless transceivers in its design. This solution utilized a RESTful API for smooth communication between the React front-end and the Express Node.js back-end, along with serial communication to link Node.js with the mbed microcontroller, guaranteeing efficient and robust data exchange.
Social Signals and Stock Price Prediction
In collaboration with the Chair of the Computer Science department, I contributed to a project affiliated with "ABDA," an industry-recognized Data Science certificate company, focusing on the predictive analysis of stock prices using social media data in 2022. The project involved the development of a Shiny application designed to forecast stock movements based on social media information, particularly tweet content. Python was the programming language of choice, and Jupyter Notebook served as the development environment for this data-driven initiative, reflecting a fusion of technological expertise and data science acumen.
Graph Reconstruct Conjecture
Conducting a rigorous research endeavor on the Graph Reconstruct Conjecture, our project delves into the intricate study of reconstructing graphs through the analysis of co-cay graphs. Java served as our primary programming language, and a hybrid project management approach, combining the structured Waterfall and the adaptive Agile methodologies, was employed to meticulously navigate the project's progress. Task distribution among the three-member team ensured a comprehensive coverage of responsibilities, while effective communication was facilitated through the Discord chat platform. Task versioning and collaboration were effectively managed on GitHub, thereby facilitating a systematic and proficient research exploration
Empowering Sales Excellence with Power BI
In this project, I assumed the critical role of designing and implementing a highly advanced dashboard, meticulously addressing data disparities residing in a cloud-based database via seamless API integration. Employing the formidable functionalities of Microsoft Power BI, I crafted an influential data analysis instrument that bestows clients with the capability to seamlessly access, visualize, and manipulate their data resources. My comprehensive involvement extended to database schema relations design, ensuring optimal data structuring, as well as the proficient implementation of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), a specialized programming language for enhancing data modeling and computational accuracy.
